| Hi,
I will be moving to Switzerland from another EU country this week.
I have read about the 18.44 declaration form for importing personal goods into Switzerland.
I was wondering:
- Coming into Geneva from France, what do I need to declare to the EU (France) side of the border for exporting? If so, is there a special form for this?
- Does the list of items that I am importing need to be in French, or is English accepted?
- In the list of items that are being imported, do you normally list the value alongside all the times?
Thank you in advance!

I most recently did
1. nothing to be declared to original country - just say you're moving and show 18.44 form with inventory list
2. english is fine
3. I created a table with following columns:
type make model age comments value (EUR) value (CHF)
e.g.
Furniture TV table 3 years 2 50 54.5
