C permit- non-EU to EU- need to notify?

Hi folks,
my family has been living here on a non-EU C permit.
I've been working in a EU country long enough, that I've recently become a EU citizen (double citizenship).
Nevertheless, wife and kids are still non-EU.

Is there a legal obligation to notify the Swiss authorities that I'm a EU citizen now?
The C permit is based on my first nationality, which is still valid.

Is there a danger of us losing the C permit due to this change?
Can anyone direct me to any Laws relevant to the matter (we're in Baselland)?

Change your nationality on your permit to EU - it can only bring you benefits, no downsides.

Yeah, also your family which are still non-EU will benefit from some additional rights in Switzerland as family of an EU citizen due to the free movement of persons agreement.
