Wondering if anyone has any experience with unemployment payments when searching for work in the UK. My wife is unemployed and we are considering moving back to the UK if she doesn’t find work before the end of the RAV. The RAV does say that you can receive payments in an EU or EFTA country when looking for 3 months. We are not sure if the UK is still included in the agreement and we have asked the RAV advisor but he just says he doesn’t know.

Does anyone have and experience with this recently?

We need a bit more info to be able to best guide. When did she register with RAV? When is the support from RAV expected to end? Is your wife English? Are either of you citizens of an EU country?

Assuming you were here before the end of 2020, then I'd say your best bet might be to check out the social security coordination section of the Citizens' Rights Agreement (see attached)
