RAV migration doubts

Hello, I would like to know, I had a vacation from the RAV for January 8, but I went on vacation to Spain on the 3rd to a city near my city in Portugal without saying anything to my adviser, because I had an indisposition to work for my doctor due to an accident until January 5, the fact is that my counselor asked me to see when exactly I had gone on vacation to Spain and if I had the flight tickets if I could send them to him, naturally I did not I said nothing that I was going to fly to Spain, I don't understand how he could know that I was flying to Spain or if he really confused me with Spanish instead of Portuguese and mistakenly asked for Spain instead of Portugal, what do you think? Can they have access to airline reports to see who has left the country within Europe? Because I didn't really cross any border, and even if you check in and show your billing letter at the entrance of the plane, I don't think there will be a record in immigration, what do you think? thank you

Re: RAV migration doubts

No, they certainly don't have access to flight records

Say you drove down with a friend and find a good friend right now !

If you were on official holiday time from RAV, you can go where you want !

I don't understand any of this. What exact dates did you have holiday approved for and what exact dates did you actually go?

Re: RAV migration doubts

Or, could it just be a question fishing for answers?

It's Christmas, people travels back home to meet the family. There is a high probability that you did it too. So, why not ask about it? If you said yes, the counselor has now a fact and can request documents.

All this possible without having access to any data or information at all. Just making questions that make you nervous.

If he had an accident and had been signed off with a doctors' note, was he actually allowed to travel anyway ?

The dates don't make sense. 8th Jan was a Sunday but do I understand correctly that you had "vacation from the RAV" from the 8th by which you mean that following week (9-13th)?

But you were instead away the week before, until the 5th, because you had been signed off with an accident during that time? And that's what you are worried the RAV will find out about?

This is at the discretion of the doctor. Depending on the accident or illness, there may or may not be a medical reason why travel would be possible and permitted.

I had my vacations approved from January 8, 14 days, I had a paper from the doctor until January 5, so I decided to leave on the 3rd without saying anything to my berater, nobody else asked anything, he has now asked about me situation and when I have flown, if he may have access to migration data or being within the European Union and not crossing any border, there is no record with the airline

Re: RAV migration doubts

I guess it's the following:

a) Vacations from 8 to Jan 22
b) Doctor letter says not able to work from unknown date in the past (we don't want to know) until Jan 5
c) darioboy left on Jan 3

So, I assume the following interaction by phone or email:

RAV person: darioboy, could you stop by RAV office?

darioboy: I'm on vacation on PT, cannot go.

RAV person: when did you fly?

I guess if the RAV person wants to check that the working days between "not being able to work" and start of vacations were productively used to look for a job. Worst case scenario is that RAV setup a meeting for that period.

So you are still on your holiday and he is contacting you?

If you have a car just say you drove. They'll not be able to access travel/immigration records, but if they insist on seeing your flight bookings (and you can't have driven) you might have a problem.

Yes, but you had a doctors certificate up to the 5th. So what day did your RAV Advisor want to see you? And when was this appointment made by them?
You really need to be more clear about what it is you are after.

Well you're stuffed. Even if you say you drove, they'd probably ask for fuel receipts.

But you have to ask the RAV advisor for confirmation that your travel is approved and agreed.

Re: RAV migration doubts

Your problem is Friday January 6th. The day you neither had a sicknote nor vacation. On this day you must had been in Switzerland, ready for work, and do your RAV stuff.

If you are signed of as sick you are no allowed to do anything which would hinder your recovery. In addition you must not do anything which contradicts your sick note. Otherwise you are free to recover wherever you like.

You certainly did cross borders. You might have not gone through immigration, but still, you crossed borders.

Maybe you told and you forgot?
You could also say you stayed in your home, went walking in the nearby nature.
