UK - EU Citizen Info on permits (residency etc) as reloctating to Switz with Job

I'm moving to Switzerland in next few weeks and am a little confused as to which permit I need to apply for.

I have already secured a position (ie have a job!!) and have been told I need to apply for a residency permit and that being a UK citizen I shouldn't have a problem with this...

Would just like a little advice as to how I go about applying for my permit and how easy is is??? I don't want to run into any unexpected problems along the way!!

Thanks

Jem )

Old EU citizens apply themselves. Not the company.

Edit: Been there already:
Work Permit for UK Citizen

my goodness, I've been here too long
Answer is apply for a B. That's what they will give you, I'd say.

It's quite easy nowadays.
Not like when you were a lad etc

You may get a "B", if the quota hasn't been used up.

I'm on my 3rd "L" now, but then I am hired help not permanent staff.

SWMBO is also renewing, hers is taking longer, so we hope she'll get a "B".
But last year, she got an "L" even though she was permanent...

and what about the non-eu husband or wife of an eu national, do they get the same permit. for example, eu national accepts full-time job, initially gets L permit... and the following year gets a B permit. Does his or her spouse receive the same permits?
