Hey guys,

I am curious for one thing about working here. If one is working full time on a L-Permit with a company, is it still possible for him to work part time (just a few hours per week) with another company? Would he need another Permit? Would he need to inform his current employer? (Of course he wouldn't really wish to as it's something done in his own time and would not affect his full time work) Or is there something like part-time freelancing here in Switzerland? Thanks for your info.

Yes, I have read them. But I think it's about various types of permits there, but I already have the L permit and now thinking to work for a few hours during my leisure time with another company...not sure whether I need another permit or if there are any other alternatives here...

No you don't need another permit. But it is good to inform your employer as the permit you have is linked to them.

In all fairness, if the OP is not EU, then yes he does need to apply for permission; and he is required to obtain cross-approval from both employers. Failure to disclose outside employment is a valid reason for instant dismissal.
