Landlord and Property Agent visits

****First off, perhaps there should be a category for apartment/housing administration type information.****

I received a letter from the letting agency telling me that a scheduled annual visit is coming up. If I am not available I am to leave a key with the Hauswart (which I am not doing, no one shall have access to my abode if I'm not there).

Is this normal behaviour? has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Landlord and Property Agent visits

This is Switzerland. It's normal behaviour. If it's a problem you may have to take a day-off. If you're self employed, its a no-brainer. Hide your stash.

You should talk to HAT (is he still around ?) ...
