Non EU with B permit to work in the UK

Hi Everyone,

I have been working lately with a British company on a project in Switzerland.

Now the company want me to work with them in the UK, i have a valid Family Member of Swiss National Visa which allows me to accept job offer & work in the UK.

My family (Wife & Daughter) will still be living in Switzerland & me only will be living in the UK.

I have some questions regarding this:

1- Will it still be valid that i work with my above mentioned UK Visa or do i have to use different method?
2- Will my permit get cancelled if I'm working in the UK, keeping in mind that i will be returning to CH every couple of weeks for visits?
3- What is my taxation status in this case?

Thanks in advance for the help

Cheers,
Mo

What UK visa or work permit is this? You only mention a Swiss one above.

Assuming you are talking aboyt a Swiss residence permit - and assuming by "valid family member of a Swiss national you are talking about your wife being Swiss then the answer would probably be no.

You will be taxed in the country where you are resident for tax purposes (usually 180 days in country or 90 days in some circumstances). Of course, if you are on a UK employment contract then you will almost certainly pay PAYE.
