Hiring a maman de jour/tagesmutter on an L permit

Hello,

We have the opportunity to hire someone as a maman de jour for our daughter but the woman does not yet have a work permit. She is, however, an EU-17 citizen so it is my understanding that if we create a contract (it would be for only 6 months), she could get an L permit. Is this correct? Are there other legal considerations we might not have thought of? We have been through Cheques Emploi to set up taxes, pension and so forth for our housecleaner so we know what that entails. I'm just not clear on the requirements as an employer of an L permit holder.

Thanks very much in advance for your advice...
