B permit, how do i apply for this permit to purchase a property

Hi,i am very new to all this but Hello to everyone.

I am trying to find out how to apply for a B permit with the thought of purchasing a 1 bed property in saas fee within the next 12-12 months.

I am over 50, does this help with the application

Do i need the permit first and then find the property or is it the other way round.

Are you going to live in Switzerland? Only then do you need a residence permit. As a UK citizen you do not need one to buy a property.

Is a permit needed if someone is not from EU/EFTA-country?

Idea is also to buy real estate, not intend to live, only to visit. Possibly starting small business. How it works under this condition?
