I have applied for C-permit(swiss residence permit) 6weeks ago and I have no information until now.

Is there any way to find the progress and how long it takes normally?

Best to ring the Migrationsamt I guess. 6-8 weeks, and even up to 3 months, isn't unusual I suspect. Our C permit renewals were turned round in about 3 days, though, which was a shock!

It took Zurich 4 months to process the changing of Cantons with our C permits (BS->ZH, US citizens), so be patient.
