Hmm. A bit like getting blood out of a stone but let's perserve.

So someone in Switzerland has agreed to support your visit as a tourist?

What is your relationship with the sponsor?

Have you applied for your visa?

yes, a good family business friends of mine, we cnt clearly understand each other because i dnt speak their language, we need inerpreter for help they not fluent in english that's why i hve to really understand evry words. so for the call of authority for approval then i think the next step is the applied visa

If you haven't applied for a visa why would you expect the authorities to contact you?

Go to the Swiss embassy or consulate. Apply for your tourist visa. Provide the documents they ask for.

i already did that i mailed all the documents needed to my friend there in switzerland and i ask if all the documents are complete and he said yes and he sumbmit it and said to me to wait for a call of the authority anytime, for verification and some questions. im bit confuse because wat if i cnt answer it ryt or wat would be the probable questions. So i ask my friend what kind of question then he said maybe only basic question just like stating my name, adress, personal information etc. and he said if they ask me how im related to the person who sponsor me. and so then i said ok its not confusing at all. but the problem is im waiting 2 months already but there's no call yet. do u think im waiting for nothing or its just a matter of slow processing? but its a sponsorship, no visa application yet. im wondering why it take too long for that long time in just a fone call of verification and some questions... what is the sponsorship for? what if i go to embassy and i apply and submit the needed documents there will it take 2months? help me.. thanku

Your friend cannot apply for you. You need to apply at your LOCAL Swiss ambassy or consulate.

You're waiting for the Swiss to call you and invite you to Switzerland? that's not going to happen. You must start the process by applying for a visa.

Re: sponsoring a parent or a family member

To dan manuel....

With all due respect.
When people decide to go on a tourist vacation, they have vacation booked from work, all necessary items resolved and off they go. How can you wait for two months and still waiting? What about your work?
Here is what I know having lived and worked in the Philippines in the past at the NAIA airport with Immigration authorities.
Many thousands of Philippinos have obtained US and European tourist visas in the past. They arrived in the US or Europe and never left. This has created a suspician among foreign embassies (specially western countries) and therefore visas for Philippinos to US and Europe have become very difficult to obtain. As you may know (coz you have a US visa), when you go to a western country embassy in Manila (or consulate in cebu), you need to prove that you have a good reason to return to the Philippines. The proff must be tangible and you need to show you have assets, a job and other commitments to retuen. If you can not prove, the visa is almost impossible. One more thing I want to say if this. Any individual whether Philippino or other nationality going to the US and staying there has a far better chance than coming to CH any staying / overstaying. Here in CH rules are different than the US. Chances for anyone to remain here illegaly is much lower than the US. I also know that a lot of people organize trips for Philippinos by sending invitations etc and charge you a lot of money. As I said before, with all due respect, if this is the case for you, please do not through your hard earned money out the window.
I wish you good luck,

Re: sponsoring a parent or a family member

I think there must be a misunderstanding. It does not work like that. If I understand your problem correctly, your friend told you that
1) you have to fill in some papers, then
2) he would submit your papers to the authorities in Switzerland, and
3) after this the Swiss authorities will call you to ask you questions, and then
4) you can apply for a visa.

This is not correct, you must have misunderstood something or your friend did not tell you the truth (deliberately or not).

This is how it goes:
1) your friend should fill out one form, in which he states that he would sponsor you financially or that he takes responsibility for you financially (I don't know which applies in your case).
2) you submit this to the Swiss embassy/consulate at your place of residence, along with other documents. (You should contact them to know which ones exactly.) This is the visa application.
3) wait there till you receive your tourist visa.

Please anyone feel free to correct this or add to it.
