Have L-Permit (dependent) and Interviewing - Better chance of getting Work Permit?

I realize the permit I have does not allow for me to work however will it give me a "leg up" in the work permit process since I already have a residence permit? In other words, do I have a better chance to get a work permit over another non-EU who doesn't yet have anything?

Also, do you think it will cut down the time spent approving (or not approving I suppose) my work permit? I figure since I am already in the system that it may cut out some of the time necessary to approve such things.

It is a management level position so if I do get an offer, I am hopeful that the permit process doesn't pose a challenge.

Thanks!

Theoretically not but being in Switzerland already just has to be an advantage - difficult to define what that is though.

The process is pretty much the same - you may find you have to hand over all the documentation etc again.

Be assured that it will .
