So I went to register myself in Geneva OCP today. I asked the gentleman what type of permit would I get. He checked and said - it's a B, 1 year. After you renew it.

I am quite pleased about it. Because my work contract is a three years one. And I am a Non-Eu National.

My question is - the renew of Permit B is no longer in the quota right? Easy to obtain?

There is a missing material I need to present within two months. But they seem quite relaxed about it. It's the non criminal record from my country.
Will mail it to them.

Just wanted to ask the same question - in renewing the B permit, does the employer need to prove that they cannot find an EU/Swiss national for the job?

No quota for renewals.
