Re: Eligible westie bachelor looking for bride

Alikiw, that you have come on here advertising your dog to stud shows at best an astounding naiveté, at worst an unbelievably irresponsible attitude.

A serious breeder, one whose primary goal is the betterment of the breed in terms of health and temperament - which of course is the only reason to breed - already knows how to go about breeding. If you do not know the proper steps, you have no business breeding.

That you are asking for random mates is extrememly worrying. A breeder must research the lines of both the male and female dogs, must understand the genetics on both sides.

Westies are plagued with a myriad of health problems - you need to know your dog's genetic ancestry, as well as that of the female to ensure that you are not passing on any of the inheritable conditions to the poor pups. Even if both your dog and the female are healthy, they might be carriers, producing pups with genetic disorders or inheritable diseases.

Is your dog FCI registered? Are you a member of the proper SKG breed club? Has your dog undergone all the health tests, the temperament tests? Has your dog been properly Angekört, that is officially approved as a stud dog by the breed club?

If not, your dog is not considered fit to breed. And if your dog is not officially accredited it does not matter what his lineage is - the puppies produced will not be SKG registered. Any buyer of pups from a dog bred outside the official club should understand that one is not getting a 'pedigreed' pup.

If you are serious about becoming a breeder your first step is to join the breed club. Get to know other breeders, have your dog judged by the experts.

I know I sound harsh, but I will make no apologies. The current overpopulation and dog welfare crisis stems from irresponsible and unethical breeding. It takes a lot more than tossing two dogs together. I spend much of my time as a rescue volunteer, trying to help the poor pups produced by thoughtless breeding - the fallout is heartbreaking.

If you are going to breed, do it right. If you cannot do it right, do not breed.

Re: Eligible westie bachelor looking for bride

Here is a possible solution..this is on topic so don't hit me
Let me give you a helping hand..no,that sounds wrong..you know what i mean, here i go...

After reading your " request " and Meloncollie's answer,it seems that your dog is just after a shag so to speak.

Why not buy him this? it will help him getting over the humps without having to pay alimony for years to come.. Pedigree or bastard, the "Hotdoll" for dog's is what you need!

No fee's ,no training,no certs,no breed clubs,no questions.. just a one time 149€ will sort you and your dog out.

More info on Hotdoll for dogs

* note, i am not affiliated with any kind of dolls as its made by the French *
(i don't mean to offend anyone with the above post)

Edit : meanwhile pee'ing myself with the frequent asked questions on hotdoll's website bahahahaha..

Why is there a stopper ?

After every use, replace the stopper (remove the silicone cone beforehand), to avoid the input to the body of diverse objects. The stopper also allows to mask the opening if you want to hide the sexual function.

What if I do not have a dog?

Hot Doll is known in the world of design, used as an unusual object, avant-garde and unconventional. Many of our customers do not have dogs but love design. Hot Doll appears in magazines, exhibitions, and trendy places around the world.
Do not hesitate to contact an animal center, collecting abandoned animals, they need you. So you get a dog!

Agreed but from the dog's point of view ( rear ) it all looks the same, he doesn't care

However, for the more " dog look alike experience " wanting customer, another company makes these

Hahaha!!!! @Joey82 you are such a brilliant comedian. Almost fell of my chair laughing at your posts (and pictures).

The OP's "westie" might've need therapy after all this if he could read this thread .

Still choking with laughter as I write . . .

I'm pretty sure that someone's leg / ankle doesn't look much like a dog either but that certainly doesn't hinder the attempts of some amorous pooches.
