Hi there fellow dog lovers :-)

The time has come to sadly part ways with my dog of 5 years... *sigh* ... work and life changes has become pressingly hard to keep her around and happy, and a new life in a larger home with a yard or more to enjoy is much needed for her now.

My first question, as an expat in Switzerland, is what is the "process" here to put a dog up for adoption? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FYI, she is a 5 year-old Siberian Husky and German Shepherd mix, very well trained, obedient, trained and a loving personality.

But I warn you, you are going to receive a lot of bad comments!

Not necessarily. Don't worry loyaliser - your reasons are genuine and when I was trying to re-home my little cat everyone was extremely kind.
