Darcy, has ANIS agreed to do the registration change without going through your vet?
With most of my dogs they did just that - the old owner (a shelter) sent in the form, easy peasy. But with my last dog (adopted after the new TschV came into affect), the transfer from the shelter was not enough - rather I also had to go to my vet to have the new owner details entered in. Once ANIS had both halves they then updated my guy's file.
Seemed a pretty cumbersome way to go about it, but there you go. That was 2 years ago, so things may have changed... (again)...
Also, your Gemeinde might ask for the confirmation letter from ANIS when you register your dog there. Mine did (as well as proof of liability insurance), but I understand not all do.
