Help!!! Vet/ Tierarzt open on Good Friday!

Hi! My poor puppy has a wicked conjunctivitis in his left eye, which I just noticed this evening. We live in Thalwil, but will go where we need to so I can get him some drops. Does anyone know of a vet/ tierarzt that might be open on Good Friday? Or worse comes to worst, on Saturday morning???

Sorry to hear your pup is ill.
Just call the number for your regular vet, and you should get an answerphone message with contact numbers for the 'on call vet' (it may even be your regular vet depending on whose turn it is).
Someone local(ish) will be running a clinic tomorrow morning.

Pharmacies (Chemists) will sell you eye drops for animals.

You need to look for the one nearest you, which is open tomorrow. They have a large green cross.
Usually all the pharmacies put a sign on their doors telling you which one is open.

Unfortunately, we don't have a "regular" vet yet... We saw one in Baar (when we were living in temporary housing) about 4 mos back for a quick problem. I don't even know where her # is! I'm a bad mama. But I will persevere!

Good to know! I will take a walk through town when I walk him in the morning and see what's what. If no, then I will move on to the good info in the next reply.

Why not try to call and listen to what the emergency facilities are before traipsing into Zurich. There may be a closer alternative.
