I am new to Zurich and looking for a groomer for my dog. I live in Glattpark. Also, if the proprietor speaks some English that would be helpful. Thank you.

I did some research on dog groomers as I recently needed to get my dog a haircut. I found that they are very expensive, and that some of the big ones apparently do not do a great job or are not very friendly. I chose to go to Hundesalon Bello, because I heard that the prices were a little lower. I do not speak much german, but I was able to communicate what I wanted for my dog, and she did a great job. I got him shaved and nails trimmed for 90 francs. The owner was SO nice, and what I liked the most is that when I came back to pick my little guy up, he was playing with other dogs behind the counter in the store - not locked up in a cage. That was the icing on the cake for me! Good luck finding something

Goodness that's expensive - 90 chf for a small dog. Can't imagine what my double-coated Great pyr would cost. Anyone know of a mobile dog groomer?

Might check Hunde Salon Bello out,less than impressed with the cut that my Lhasa Apso had last time,they practically hacked all her coat off. If anyone on here has a Lhasa Apso I would be very pleased to get some advice on a good groomer who does a decent job on a Lhasa Apso and who ideally speaks a little English.
