Boarding My Cat

Can anyone suggest a Cattery near Bulach, I am willing to drive to make sure my cat is well taken care of while we are away for 3 nights in December. My cat is 12yrs old and we have lived here for about 2 months, she adjusting well but I am a bit concerned about finding the right spot for her. We have found a place for our dog which is perfect and came highly recommended.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Many Thanks

Hi, I have a 14 year old cat at home....and I can look after your cat for those 3 nights. The only downside, I live in Wangen bei Olten.

Re: Boarding My Cat

Thanks for that but I think it is a bit to far, my cat is hopeless with other cats, she likes dogs but hates other cats. Thank you anyway

Re: Boarding My Cat

I have 3 cats and they hate change of scenery, as yours is just settling in, I wouldn't recommend putting it into a cattery. It would be less traumatic for the cat to stay at home and a catsitter to drop by, the cat wouldn't even know you were gone.
what about this petsitter:

Re: Boarding My Cat

This is probably what I will do, thank you, I don't want to really take her to a place after the trauma of moving. On one of the web-sites there are a couple people very close to us.
Thank you so much!

Re: Boarding My Cat

Does your cat usually have food there all day long, or is she on a scheduled feeding?

If your cat is used to having food all day long, then for a 3-day trip, I wouldn't bother taking her to any boarder. It's a lot of stress for the cat for such a short time. Perhaps you can just leave extra food and water for the 3 days and she can stay home.

We do it with our 3 cats if we're just away for 2 nights over the weekend.

Re: Boarding My Cat

I think I have found someone, waiting to hear. I just think 3 nights may be a bit long for her to be on her own. Thanks!!
