Well I have a copy of "101 things to do with a dead cat" but I did not see that one coming.

Re: Cat-Quadcopter

I can't quite make up my mind about this, I love cats and this doesn't seem the right thing to do with a beloved deceased pet, but it made me laugh .

If I were this guy's wife, I would be a bit worried about dying before he does.

Agree, this is no way to honour the memory of a beloved pet.

If you had three of the them, you could fly the "Missing pussy formation".

Cetainly not the way I'd treat a beloved family member. Just sick with the thought of doing something like that.

Oh no, the fluffies are coming.

Nope - completely disagree - a very good way to remember his cat compared with the alternatives of letting it decompose in the ground or incinerating it.

At least he waited for it to die first - and it looks in pretty good nick for roadkill - almost happy.

Remember ..... the best cat is a dead cat.

He's Dutch, it says so in the first paragraph of the report you linked.

Anyway, although I am deffo a cat person, I found this slightly bizarre, yet quite an unusual and novel way to honour a loved companion.
And oh so very Dutch.

Guess we'll be doing the same thing with the children then. Better to let them fly around than be incinerated or buried.

Don't give the children as exemple, they will agree with you.

You can see it in the last seconds of the youtube video - there is a "door" on the back, but the fur covers it well...

Re: Cat-Quadcopter

I don't see why people are so upset about this. The cat wasn't killed or treated badly to make the helicopter, and I think the artist is well within his rights to honour his own pet as he best sees fit.
