Big Ears is home

I know almost everybody love puppies and their pics (so many people stopping and saying hi when we go for a walk outside!), meloncollie asked me for some, so I here they are .

I proudly present to you Arya a.k.a. Big Ears a.k.a. I-will-poop-in-the-corner-maybe-nobody-will-notice a.k.a. this-bowl-of-water-is-so-scary-I-have-to-bark-maybe-it-will-go-away!

(It is hard to make a decent photo when she is NOT sleeping )

Well of course there is a connection.

I read recently that the Queen isn't going to have any more corgis because she is afraid that she may trip over them now she is getting older.

Re: Big Ears is home

She is gorgeous! I had a Corgi a few years ago and she was such a character! She even dug a hole under the fence and took my bulldog down to the beach and left him there!! Very clever dogs.

They are actually on the list of breeds that are getting very rare. In the UK there were hardly any registered with the Kennel Club in the last year.

Wish you many happy years with your new best friend

Re: Big Ears is home

Looks a bit dinky for a corgi ..... although already bigger than a matchbox.

I've read the news too, last year there were fewer than 300 Corgi puppies in the UK and there it means the breed is getting rare. But it's the UK, I'm sure the US are getting more and more.
Have you seen this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raDpcMFmmvA ?

Just to be clear, the queen has Pembrokes, mine is a Cardigan. Theoretically these are two different breeds.

Oh come on! You'd be tired too if you had to walk miles on those stubby legs. Probably couldn't keep her little eyes open after "walkies".
