Just an FYI:
We often hear that 'there aren't many small dogs in rescue', it's an idea that gets stuck in people's heads and, unforunately, prevents some from even considering a rescue dog when looking for a small furry friend.
So just wanted to point out that at the moment there seem to be more small dogs than usual in Swiss shelters. There are 70 listed on the database today, among those are pure bred little 'uns: Chihuahuas, Yorkies, a Spitz, Pugs, JRs, as well as absolutely adorable mixes.
So - if you are looking for a small companion please take a look at the Tierdatenbank, where you'll find all creatures, great
and small. Your future best friend just might be listed there, waiting for you.
