Marly FR: Cervelat spiked with glass shards found

An FYI for dog owners in Marly FR, from the 20 Minuten:

https://www.20min.ch/schweiz/bern/st...Hunde-23650047

Cervelat spiked with glass shards as been found in the Bois du Roule area. Police are advising dog owners to be careful.

---

Yet another sick barsteward. We've seen too many of these stories.

---

Dog owners, be aware of what your dog is doing at all times when you are out and about.

And, as has been said over and over when these stories appear:

Work with your dogs until they have mastered ignoring food on the ground. Most training schools do these 'Anti-Giftköder' exercises; this is a lesson that just might save your dog's life.

I am glad to hear there are schools and methods to teach them how to ignore food. I have noticed, in quite a few situations, that some dogs, usually large/big, beautiful (not mine though) dogs, are waiting for me to give them some food, and they are so trustful and innocent, obviously growing in a very loving family with good owners.
I couldn't stop thinking I wish they weren't that trustful because you never know whom they might come across with. I, for one, never give them any food because I don't want to enable this habit, first of all, and second because I don't know about their health status. Just saying... it makes me sick too to read about this kind of things.
