Physio/Osteopath for dog (ZH/ZG)

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a physio or osteopath for dogs in the Zurich/Zug region please? Our furry monster injured herself whilst on holiday and we took her to an Osteopath in France which helped her enormously. We'd now like to find someone who can give her a course of 5 - 10 sessions. Any personal recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I took my old girl to Diane Camezind, I think that is how you spell her name. It was 6 plus years ago though and, sorry, I cannot remember where we went. She is a human as well as animal physio and really helped keep my old girl mobile.

Re: Physio/Osteopath for dog (ZH/ZG)

Herr Marco Mouwen is an outstanding physiotherapist. We (that's me, Hooligan and Heffalump) have been working with him for years now.

He is at MyVets in Cham, ZG or at his own practice in Birmensdorf ZH.

MyVets:

Physiodog:

I initially went to Herr Mouwen because Heffalump bunny-hopped when running, the cause was diagnosed by the surgeon/ortho vet at the practice, Dr Yuri Béosier, who then suggested physio. So if you have other mobility issues, it might be worthwhile to see Herr Mouwen at MyVets, where Dr Béosier could consult as well.

Hooligan started seeing Herr Mouwen to help with some shoulder arthritis - then after her stroke he helped her learn to control her back legs. It's thanks in a large part to Herr Mouwen that she regained almost all her mobility.

Herr Mouwen a great physiotherapist - and a genuinely nice person.

Thanks so much for the comments above. Herr Mouwen looks like he will fit the bill and is the closest in terms of location for us. Much appreciated!
