Can landlord make building No pet after signed contract
I have read this forum threads about apartment contracts allowing pets, and buildings with no pets allowed clauses. I have not seen the following situation
in another thread.
I have been renting for a long time, and the building is owned by a pension fund who owns many buildings. today, I received a letter: addressed to all renters in all buildings they own. Apparently, in some buildings, people are allowing their dogs to urinate in the elevators. They said that if this does not stop in the next month, all of their buildings will become no pets allowed.
Are they allowed to do this, as I have a contract that allows my cat? (He never leaves building except in a cage to go to the vet)
Will they come and inspect? Please any advice would be appreciated.
