| | Help getting supplements from Germany to CH
Not sure where to post this ... But the people in the "Pet corner" are always very helpful!
The Swiss provider stopped her activity and now I can't get my cat supplements in Switzerland anymore. They will only ship to Germany.
I am looking for someone from Zurich-City who goes regularly over the border and who could pick-up the products. I would come and get them.
I may need to do this around 3 times a year, next would be in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your help!

Thank you Bowlie! But I am looking for someone who goes anyway across the order to pick up items.
Since this are temperature sensitive products, I rather have them being pick up. Also the shipping costs are really high!

If it is only 3 times a year, search for a super saver train ticket, go to Germany and make it an outing? You can still go there if you stay less than 24 hours.

The thing is that without a car, it is kind of a pain. This why I am looking for someone that goes anyway and could pick up my stuff on top of his/hers ...

Why a pain? Have it shipped to Konstanz and take the train, lots of train connections from Zurich to Konstanz. And it is quite a nice city to walk around and have a look at the Bodensee.
How many kilos do you want to import?

How many kilos do you want to import? | | | | | Yes, that is what I will be doing, if nothing else is possible. But I tend to avoid taking the train in these times of covid. Weight: less than 2 kg.
Again, I am trying to find someone who is going anyway and for whom this wouldn't be a burden.

You do realize that picking up items for strangers and taking these across borders might raise some questions?

As far as the trains go, I think they are looking quite empty on off peak times.
Best of luck.

As a rule I'd never bring back anything for anyone, especially someone I don't know. I tend to agree with the others, that have them sent to somewhere nearby and go collect them..

Try to check if DHL or UPS can transport it for you. I think this will be easier and people will be uncomfortable in transporting a package to a strange.
