Crokeo - Pet food subscription

Lausanne based startup that formulates dog/cat food via subscription that delivers each month in the Leman region of Suisse. Looks like rates of 59 CHF/month

Curious if anyone has had any experience with it or knows of anyone who has

Re: Crokeo - Pet food subscription

I looked at it but didn't go further ..
The calculator for how much food your dog needs only asks it's name, age and how often it goes outside.. Oh and if it's sterilised..

But what about breed or just it's size?? I might have a Great Dane or a Chihuahua.

Maybe the 59chf per month is based on an average or something and maybe other info like that comes later .. But it just seemed a bit generic. Any pet store sells food directed also at size and characteristics, not just if goes out for more or less that 2 hours per day.

So also interested to hear from others too.. We probably only spend around 40 on food but i'd spend a bit more to have it delivered, if it was actually better.

Re: Crokeo - Pet food subscription

Looking at ingredients of the meat, it doesn't look too bad:

VIANDE DÉSHYDRATÉE DE VOLAILLE, POIS,
VIANDE DÉSHYDRATÉE DE LAPIN (MIN. 15% = 42% DE VIANDES
FRAÎCHES),
POMME DE TERRE DÉSHYDRATÉE (MIN. 12%),
GRAISSE DE VOLAILLE,
PULPE DE BETTERAVE,
LEVURE DE BIÈRE,
GRAINES DE LIN,
MARC DE POMME,
CHLORURE DE SODIUM,
MÉLANGE D’ÉPICES (CURCUMA 1.3G/KG, GENIÈVRE 1.2G/KG, CORIANDRE 0.9G/KG, CERFEUIL 0.5G/KG, THÉ VERT 0.5G/KG),
FRUCTO-OLIGOSACCHARIDES (0.1%),
MANNO-OLIGOSACCHARIDES (0.1%)

but I'll stick with Orijen and Millies-Wolfheart

EDIT:
Looking at the "sensitive"
RIZ (MIN. 38%),
VIANDE D’AGNEAU DÉSHYDRATÉE (MIN. 20% = 45% DE VIANDE FRAÎCHE),
PROTÉINE DE POMME DE TERRE,
GRAISSE DE VOLAILLE, PULPE DE BETTERAVES, GRAINES DE LIN, LEVURE DE BIÈRE (1.5%), HUILE DE
SAUMON (1.0%), CHLORURE DE SODIUM, FRUCTO-OLIGOSACCHARIDES (0.1%)

This actually looks worse, there's a lot of rice in there!
