Hi. I live in the Basel area and am looking for a cat sitter or boarding house for my two cats this Summer. I'll be away for a month and either would like someone to look after the cats in my apt. or would like to leave them in a nice boarding house.

Has anyone had good experience with either? Thanks!

Can't offer specific advice, but the local cattery near us popped a leaflet through the door a few weeks ago. Price for two cats was CHF40-/day, which adds up quickly if you'll be gone a whole month!

A cattery for a month? Umm, that sounds really awful for your cats... Maybe someone who loves animals would take them in their home as another option? I might be willing if you decide to go that route...
