Re: Pet Sitting Network

Hello,

I've just arrived in Zurich a week ago. I have a cute little cat, female, her name is Lola, she is currently in Spain but I need to bring her to Zurich. Unfortunately I am living in a shared flat where I cannot have pets and I will need a place for Lola for a period of two months. After that, I will move to a flat where I can take her with me, and take care of other pets when possible. Right now I cannot take care of any pets at my place, but I can do dog/cat sitting in the meanwhile.

My pets
Type of animal: Cat
Breed: Unknown
Ages: 1.5 years
Animals Spade: Yes
Gender: Female

My environment
House/Apartment: Not defined
Garden: Not defined
Location: Zurich, district 7

Additional Information
Lola is a cute little cat that gives no problems at all. She is already spayed and has all the required vaccines, passport, microchip implant, etc. I would love to find somebody who can take care of her during a period of two months and that, of course, allows me to visit her. I will provide everything that is needed (food, litter box, toys). Please feel free to contact me if you are interested, I will take care of your pet(s) also when you need it.

Hey guys!
I unfortunately don't have pets at the moment but would be happy to help.
I am a skilled cat admirer with previous experience..well...having two cats. As cats are not huge fans of leaving their home, I can come over, feed them and keep them entertained. I live in Zurich but can travel around a bit if necessary (e.g. to Zug). Obviously, no property damage from my side; I want to help because I love cats, being a giving person as i am.
I have some spare time in upcoming months - PM me

Hi Cheezecake!

Would you be willing to take a cat at your place? My cat is in Spain right now and I would like to bring her to Zurich but unfortunately it is not possible to have cats at the place where I´m living right now. I have to wait until the end of May to move to another place where I´m allowed to take her with me. Would "cat housing" be an option for you?

Best,

Diana D.

Hey, i read your post and didn't reply because our flat is unfortunately cat-unfriendly (forbidden by the rent agreement). I might sneak a cat in for a couple of days but can't keep her for a month Sorry that I can't help. I know that my "immediate" friends have sort of same pet-unfriendly flats but if i find someone else - i will PM you. Hope it works out at your end!

Hello everybody, I have just recently moved to Zurich, and I brought my pet cat, Mikoto (on the left), with me. I urgently need a catsitter who can come check on Mikoto while I will be away for four days (17-20 April) during Easter, visiting my family and on the way back, bring along my second cat Yoda (on the right), to Zurich.

I need someone who lives pretty close, can come either every day, or 1-2 times while I am gone to make sure Mikoto has clean water, plenty of food and clean sand. Also, someone who can ideally spend some time playing with him and giving him some love.

Mikoto is very social, very vocal, he is healthy and doesn't require a special treatment. I know this is supposed to be a "free service network", but I would still be happy to compensate who ever can help for their time, or at least their travel expenses. As well as, in the future, I can return the favour by pet sitting your cat.

Mikoto and I both look forward to hearing from you!

Animal Spayed: yes

My environment

Re: Pet Sitting Network

My pets
Type of animal: Dog
Breed: Black Lab Mix, looks like a skinny black lab
Ages: 7 years
Animals Spade: yes
Gender: Male

My environment
House/Apartment: Apartment
Garden: Yard
Location: Reinach Nord

Additional Information
Riley has all the required vaccines, passport, microchip implant, etc. Riley is great around kids, we have a 2.5 year old girl, and is very mild mannered, although he does love to snuggle and to chase cats, so a house with cats might not be best.

thanks so much

My pet
Type of animal: dog
Breed: Boxer/Lab mixed
Age of animal: 8
Animal spayed? Yes
Gender: Female

My environment
Apartment
Garden? Kinda. I live on farm land and there is PLENTY of room for dogs to run
Any other pets? Nope
Your location: Tägerwilen/Gottlieben (outside of Kreuzlingen on the Bodensee)

Any other information
I work in Basel, so don't have a problem exchanging with someone between Kreuzlingen and Basel (Kreuzlingen, Weinfelden, Frauenfeld, Winterthur, Zurich, or Basel to be exact - this is my train route).

About my Snuggle Monster - she is a kisser. She will kiss you from the time she wakes until she's ready to go to bed. She loves to cuddle and sleep in bed, under the covers. You can make a small bed for her on the floor, but make sure to shut your door in the evening because she will sneak into your room and get into bed when she's tired. She is super mellow indoors, but has so much energy outdoors - and looooooooooves to run! I prefer to dog sit with a dog that can be out for long periods of time because we are always taking hiking trips into the mountains (6-9 hours per day).

**I do need someone to watch Jada at the end of this month (May) for the week and also 2 weeks in June. Please DM me asap**

Re: Pet Sitting Network

Hi

Our dogs sound similar, although mine is a boy. He's also one part Boxer, so sleeping loads, cuddling and running are are his favourite thing besides eating of course.
I might be able to help in Mai/ June. When exactly are you thinking of? We have another dog to look after for friends from 16 May, not sure when they will come to get him and 3 dogs at the same time might be too much as we are only in a flat right now (we've just moved to Basel, so are in temp accommodation until 1 June). E-mail me? [Email removed]

Re: Pet Sitting Network

Hey guys!

Let me introduce The Amazing Mr Hobbes:
Type of animal: dog
Breed: Lab
Age of animal: 2
Animal spayed? Yes
Gender: Boy

My environment: Apartment
Garden: no, but we go on long walks on parks
Any other pets: Nope, but sometimes it would be nice to have some company, says Mr Hobbes!
Your location: Affoltern/Zurich

Mr Hobbes loves cuddles, company and play time on the outdoors, indoors he prefers to sleep (and he sleeps a lot indoors).. He's very friendly and he'll play with your pet till your pet is tired of him, at which point he usually just go to the next human and ask for cuddles to fall asleep..

Ah, he has all the vaccine, passport, microchip, etc..

Re: Pet Sitting Network

Hello all! I would love to join the pet sitting network!

Type of animal: Levi is a dog
Breed: Sennenhund-minichure Doberman mix
Age of animal: 9 months
Animal spayed? No
Gender: Boy

My environment: Apartment
Garden: No, but the park and fields are literally on our doorstep!
Any other pets: Nope, just Levi
Your location: Pfäffikon ZH/Zurich

Levi is up to date with vaccinations, microchip, passport, etc..

Levi loves his daily walks and playing with other dogs. The rest of the time he loves to sleep and get lots of cuddles. He has completed his first course at dog school and is fairly well behaved for a 'toddler' and is completely house trained. He doesn't like to be left alone for long periods so I would prefer him to stay where there is some one home some of the day (although if he had another dog to play with this may not be an issue?).

I can doggie-sit with pleasure but since Levi comes to work with me (a full day at home alone is too much for him and so he normally starts to bark in the afternoon) I would only be able to look after your dog on the weekends.

We are going away from 25/06-08/07 and would prefer he doesn't have to go into a boarding kennel, if anyone can help...thanks
