Could anybody recommend a boarding house/kennel for my cat?(in Basel)

Hi there,

As always, when confronting with something ,i get back to this forum. It has been always very useful. Hope this time i'll find a solution, too.

So, i'm going on a 2 weeks holiday to Italy and i don't know whether i should get my sweetie with me (i'm going by car) or should i leave her in a boarding house or a kennel, in Basel or nearby.

I was very keen in taking her in the hotel with me, but then when i required more info about her safety in the room while i'm outside....i was stunned: they said they are not responsible if my cat runs away when the cleaners is doing her job and then, i should also know that they have 2 dogs who are permanently free outside. Then why are they allowing pets in the hotel?!

Anyway, i haven't book this hotel yet...but i'm now scared to take her with me. I think it could be better to leave her here,in a boarding house. Could somebody recommend me a good one, where they would look properly after her?

Many thanks!

Did you try here first? Pet Sitting Network

It would probably be a much better alternative (for your babies) than a kennel if you could find someone who is available...

When do you need someone? Could it be someone visiting your cat at your home?

Hi Nil,

I'll be away from the 31st July until the 15th August.

Preferably i'd like someone to keep the cat in her/his home, because she needs a bit of company. She is a Burmese, very sweet and lively and i was told not to leave her alone as she can get very sad.

Awwww! I am around during this period. But I can't take her home because of my old cat.
