For petsitting and dog-walking services in the Lausanne area do try Polly at www.pollypetsitter.com

She really loves animals, offers an excellent and conscientious service, and her rates are very reasonable.

Re: The Pet Boarding Thread - Recommendations and Advice. NO ADS IN HERE

Researching for 2 weeks holiday stay for our 1 year old Labrador over Christmas 2018, around Wädenswil-to-Rapperswil stretch on the wrong side of ZH lake.

I have gathered these names from various sources:
1. Jackies in Wädenswil
2. Gerenau Stiftung für Tierschutz in Wadenswil
3. Tierheim Gredig in Au
4. VI Pets in Altendorf
5. Angelas Hundesitting in Feusisberg (closing down permanently)

I shall be visiting them over next few days to decide.

Would appreciate any experiences about these places or anything new that you would recommend.

Thanks,

We havent lived in Zuerich for 2 years, but when we did we used Jackies's often and were not disappointed.

Any recommendations for a Chatterie or cat/house sitters in the Nyon/La Côté area. The Vet we go to no longer boards cats.

We have two elderly (18) Birmans still in relatively good health. They do need some TLC though.

Thanks!

10 years ago Gredig was number 1, and I recommended it. In the last couple of months though my clients tell me that they are not satisfied. Either because they find that the number of dogs frolicking around is too high - allegedly around 40 dogs - or that their dogs return home fat.

Reporting back. We used Jackies in Wädenswil. Had a good experience, our Lab was well taken care of. Will use again.

Did you find anyone? If you are ever stuck, and the dates are ok for us- we have a massive room at the back with wide window sills to sit and lie on to watch the horses and cows ... we are very experienced with cats and can administer drugs and injections, etc, and tons of TLC. For single or several cats. References available.

Hi, we have a 9 year old German Shepherd. Has some hip issues and needs a caring place or someone that could stay in the home. We're in St. Gallen. Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

Re: The Pet Boarding Thread

I would agree with an earlier commentator. It would be really helpful if a personal review could be given. Am looking for a few days care for my cat and naturally, am very apprehensive about leaving her with complete strangers. Any up to date hints and tips on suitable places for cat boarding in the Basel area would be greatly appreciated.

Re: The Pet Boarding Thread - Recommendations and Advice. NO ADS IN HERE

Hello!

I am moving to Geneva in January 2021, with my daughter, husband and 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier from London.

My husband will be working from home though he might have to spend several weeks at a time in London. Any recommendations for dog walkers (and boarding options in Geneva) most appreciated.

Thanks very much

Kalipso
