Wanted apartment in Freienbach (SZ)

Hey all,

Looking to move to Schwyz and would like to live in the Freienbach area (e.g. Pffafikon for the fast train connection to Zurich).

Ideally something 4.5 rooms. I've already applied for a few but competition is fierce so if you're about to give up your place or know something that will be available please do let me know.

Merci!

Re: Wanted apartment in Freienbach (SZ)

Assume you‘ve seen this one? It’s a little far from the station on foot, but there is a quick bus connection that should dovetail with the trains. https://homegate.ch/rent/3000603468?...os!m2-sh!md-ow

Also depending upon where you are working in Zurich (assuming this is the primary reason for the wanting the quick train) getting the slow train from Freienbach or Bäch to Zurich Enge only takes a few minutes longer than the quick train to the HB, which doesn‘t stop at Enge, particularly as it‘s often easier to find something close to the stations in those villages.

We lived in Pfäffikon for 4 years, before buying a place in Wilen (commute takes about 10 minutes longer, but is closer to the motorway), so if you have any general questions about the area, fire away.

Thanks alot, that one is a little out of my price range and more space than I need (2-3 bedrooms will do me). In terms of budget I would say CHF 2.5 - 3k range.

I hear what you're saying about the slower train links, of course its an option but being walking distance to a station is the key.

Ok - budget helps us help you. It‘s worth visiting the local Coops/Migros etc to see what‘s on the billboards. Happy to keep an eye out for you, but we did a big shop today, so might be a while before we go in again (and we normally go to Wollerau).

This is in your price range and a 2 minute (max) walk to Freienbach station

Thanks again eyebeebe, I've seen this one and made contact with the agent for a viewing. I use Comparis which spans 17 property portals and I'm also keeping an eye out on Anibis and Tutti.

Like you said, its also worth checking local supermarket noticeboards and word of mouth because that's the only thing I can't access with a laptop

Use alleimmobilien.ch too. It gathers all of the above.

Another one to check would be

www.petitesannonces.ch

Similar to Anibis. Not sure how many you'd find in the area you're looking at, but it never hurts to check.
