Nah, registration stays open for those who have a car...we can always shank the undesired ones whenever we meet. |

| | Re: The Quest for a 6-Piece (KFC) VI | Quote: | | | | | Cant you meet Joey somewhere else? Another alternative solution is for you to speak to basher and ask him to go on the next trip. The original plan was for you and ishaka to come with me anyways. Now I need to take a dump. | | | | | I don't mind, we drive an SUV also, the other 2 on the back seat are not larger then life so sure we can fit in a 3rd person.
If you don't mind sitting beside Mirfield..
Only need to find out where to pick you up,or you find your way by train to Frick.
For Mirfield and possibly The Colonel, we can meet closer also,we can meet at Pratteln or Muttenz Banhof , as long as it has an entrance/exit to the highway you are fine, saves you the drive to Frick.
We pass by those towns anyay,no problem swinging by and collect you there..
If LIB wants to ride with Castro, leaves me with a free seat so Peg A or JustRose, feel free to tag along..

Hey Zymogen, so how about 3 tiny people in the backseat of your car? We promise to play nice!
It's not that we don't want to take our car, but it still has Romanian plates and for some reason I am a bit suspicious about crossing the border, I hear they check for KFC chicken all the time :P. Hopefully there'll be new plates in March but by then the KFC adventure will be over
If Zymogen takes us, that we're no longer maybes, but YESs |

Can everyone please update their RSVP status so that there is no more confusion on who have empty spots and who is going with who? I think summerrain summed it up best.
ChatdeChocolat - All spots seemed filled for now. Hang in there. May be someone will show up who is hungry for some KFC and has a car.
p.s. I don't think you should have a problem with your Romanian plates as long as you have your Resident Permits on you to show at the border and nothing to hide in your car. You should have no reasons to worry about anything.

We have Swiss plates and we were checked. Only once out of the many runs we made across that border. No biggie, the officer just laughed and waved us on, when I said I had nothing to declare except that bucket.

Mirfield, let me know if you come to Frick or if we need to pick you up in Pratteln..

When they chech, the probably think the documents are illegal...and finally, when they find out that the documents are legal the think you smuggled something...thus, I agree with chococat. |

Realistically speaking, the Basel party should arrive at 13:30 (taking into account latecomers etc..). What would be great is if whoever gets their first, reserves us a table or two since the Mulhouse KFC is always heaving.. more so on a Sunday lunchtime.

At most, you get pulled to the side, and have your boot checked. It really doesnt take more than 5 minutes. This dodgy-looking Asian who has been checked before says. Choc, you have documents right? | Quote: | | | | | Realistically speaking, the Basel party should arrive at 13:30 (taking into account latecomers etc..). I'll buy some hotwings, and throw it to distract anyone who tries to sit at our table. Just to distract them, mind you.
