City/Town: Zürich
Event Type: Dinner
Meeting Point: Churrascaria Rincão, Freischützgasse 14.

The A-Z of dining in Zürich is a concept of visiting one restaurant in Zürich every month; each month being the theme of the Alphabet.
With the January inaugural experience being A, we enjoyed a great meal and great company at the Abysssinian restaurant last week.
So as this hopefully long-running event slips easily into 2nd gear, we head into February . . . . . and B.
Therefore I have booked a table (for 16 people but I could increase it) at the Churrascaria Rincao BRAZILIAN restaurant - details below:

www.rincao.ch
Churrascaria Rincão
Freischützgasse 14
8004 Zurich

They have a really great menu - plus exotic SAMBA shows . . maybe there are one or two of us that could join in . . . yes I could think of someone

The date is friday 11th February and the table is booked for 8:00pm
If you wish to register please do so below.
However as we had a lot of last minute cry-offs last friday, I would ask you to PLEASE send me a PM of you are unable to come (I am notified of these) - do not just de-register yourself.
I had to cancel a table for 6 people on friday and we were lucky that they were not booked up and so we (I) got away with it.
I do realise that many of us are busy and unforeseen personal or business issues can crop up at the last minute - but if you think there may be a problem, then ask for my mobile number before the event and then you can contact me directly.

Lets get it on for February... SAMBA
RSVP'd Yes: 14 (12 members and 2 guests) RSVP'd No: 7
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.

Don't eat meat so will join you on the next one. I'm probably gonna step down as organiser of the dining in zurich meetup, so this will be a good replacement.

The Thai meal in December was so fun! Sorry I missed "A" - and sadly will have to miss "B" as will be in Turkey next week. Enjoy!

Really sorry not to be coming as it was such fun last time. Unfortunately I will be in Italy.

Looking forward to 'C' - no idea which of these it will be but my vote is for Christmas Island - guess they have Christmas dinner every day?-

Haha!

We sure did but weren't those for some other forms of ... er (BIG *gulp*)... entertainment!?

@island_girl, please can you sort that man of yours out before Friday night? Otherwise, I might have to bring the "present" with me and be forced to use it!

Re: The A-Z of dining (in Zürich)

a warning:

They have a Salad Buffet and maybe let you wait for the meat. You might be tempted to eat salad. Don't do it, "Fitnessteller" are serverd elsewhere.

For all those who didn't attend the KFC Event last Sunday:
Rincao will serve chickenhearts!!! Wohoo

There's no way I'm gonna end up getting stuffed up on salad. Am totally focussed on the meat and then some!

We talking chicken meat shaped like a heart or the actual heart of a chicken?

I've been there twice and I've never once had to wait for the meat.

I only touched the salad buffet once at the start, and the meat came along. You had choice of pork, beef, lamb, sausages every other 5-10 minutes - it was non-stop. So, a word of advice: pace yourselves because you really dont want to roll out of the restaurant like I did.

Good choice basher - enjoy, everyone.

Re: The A-Z of dining (in Zürich)

I have been there 3-4 times and my advice is wait for the good meat. The stuff that comes around the first few times is designed to fill you up before they bring around the good stuff. I don't think I'm the only one saying this either....
