Wow..how we would love to be there...we have stayed at the Del Ponte hotel in Cademarios hill side and loved it. I so wish we could be there.

Alright - so the post about me being 4'8" was partially proved correct as the place was packed (despite what I had been told when I called to reserve the table...) and I just didn't notice some of the people walking in.

And - my bad - I had my cell switched to silent (ah...these ever-so-civil swiss perfectionists ) so I didn't hear when Jellybean tried calling me.
I apologize profusely, once again. I hope you guys had a good time with jason, the supercomputer specialist, and that you enjoyed the beers!

It was great meeting Lofty - couldn't have chosen a more apt name...he is SO tall he had to curl up to get into my Prius ... and luckily my guest - a lanky american - could not make it, otherwise we would have had *some* logistical problem there!!

And Dr Memory..... - it was *great* meeting another interesting food, travel and culture lover!! Affaire à suivre, as they say

Tom st2lemans (e signora) was his usual chirpy self, gushing about his passion for HOT food and his collection of home grown chili peppers (and rotten, excuese me - ripe - cheeses, LOL).
