Noooooo not the 17th am back in UK for V Festival that weekend

I say the 10th is better!!

I can't do any weekend in August or start of September

The 10th is a day before Streetparade and people will want to take it vaguely easy a day before.

The 17th is the most logical and has the most votes.

I would rather be at V with you though.

For me it'd need to be the last weekend of August or later... August's just a busy month!

Actually an important question; how many Basellers are actually coming? Is it just Ric and Mimi at the mo? If so it could be an idea just to come to our Wednesday drinkies

OK what with the street parade on the 11th and this weekend being rafting, that only really leaves the 17th as a viable option for most people? So in that case it looks like I'll have to sit this one out then.

Or..... we could postpone it until September? As by sounds of it August is a difficult month for other people too and not just me! Though if the dates do get shifted back a little, bear in mind weekend of 31st Aug is the Wintherthur Music Festival.

Not sure if you're aware last weekend Aug is Wintherthur Festival and Kasabien play on the Fri night!

I'd be happy with September. I know a few other Basel people who aren't regulars on the forum will be coming (Pat, Irishbaseler and more)..

Sorry Ric if people (including me ) seem to be messing you around but yes maybe another poll would be a good idea! At the end of the day, you're never going to please everyone so just do as you see fit and if some of us can't make the date you pick, then we can always arrange another night out in the not too distant future..... Keep up the good work!!!

Bah. Decisions decisions. I think two bar crawls but be the obvious answer, one on the most popular date's (which appears to be the 17th) and one later, as September is a bit busy for me.

I'll give this Poll another couple days and see what happens.

The 17th or 18th would probably be good for me. A genuine Basler might just come down for it!

Time to creat a new event then. Most popular date appears to be the 17th so I'll organise it for then, and er, for the rest of you who can't make it we'll do another one in September.
