Sounds like a lot of fun. I am currently back in Canada sorting out Visa issues but hopefully I will be back in time. If not April, than May ... (or June )

I would love to know if you get the numbers you need, it is something I am interested in when I come back.

I have the same questions as basher and gmu500. I would love to restart playing again after a few years away from tennis, but probably can't start before July2011 :-(.

for, basher, gmu500, yodeler and all others with the same questions:
1) The Tennis Anlage Mythenquai is open for everyone, don't confuse it with the club next to it where you need a memebership in order to be allowed to play.
2) No need to be a proffesional to play with the group, the idea is to hit some balls and have some fun together.

Here are some informations for our event of today.


please be there on time, on time means, 10 minutes before 16:00 so we can meet and go together to start at 16:00.

The goal of the event is to meet and play, and like doing so probably find regular tennis partners that could fit your level/goals.

We have 3 courts so we can organise us on a beginners/intermediate/advanced groups.

We play for 2 hours, the only cost is that we share the courts fees ( 20 h/court )

The minimal requirement is that you know how to hit the balls, if you are a complete beginner then it won't be fun for you nor to your partners. We can organise beginner's introductory lessons or even standard lessons with Jacek if he is avaliable or with another english speaking teacher, in that case you express your commitment to the lessons and the people taking the lesson will share the teacher fee, plus the court fee.

I usually bring some rackets to lend to the players, and also have many for sale, just ask about.

If you wish, you canbring water, bananas etc to share with us during the play.

After the play we stay at the cafeteria to have a drink.

I have a throat inflammation and as today it is still not so warm, probably I won't be in top form but anyway I will be there with you

Thanks SL for organizing this social event again. It is spectacular location and well priced court facilities. On scorching sunny day you can also take a dip in the lake after sweaty training or have BBQ on the lake side. I would encourage people to come and give it a try. You won't regret it. Those who want to take it to another level - we can organize tennis lessons tailored to your specific needs. Give it a try and I promise you won't regret it
