I am hoping to start a dinner club for couples around the Luzern/Zurich area. I already have one couple we do this with, but it would be fun to get others involved.

Here are the general rules, meant to make it a fun and somewhat fancy night IN:
1. The meal should be at least 3-4 courses
2. Try to pair each course with a complimenting wine
3. Dress is semi-formal (gives us a reason to get all dressed up)

Each person is responsible for hosting the evening themselves, and covering the cost as you need to make sure everything works well with all the other courses. Of course, you will be more than compensated by the meals the following weeks. I was thinking of a schedule of every other week or monthly, if people are interested. We would all take our turns, and should have a large enough space to host at least 8 people. (Probably we will limit it to that, 4 couples or even a few singles).

We are trying to keep it gourmet, so think on that level with the food.

Did you get any PMs to your request? We are real foodies - and about to move to Zug (from Cape Town) - and the price of dining out is frankly scaring the cr*p out of me. Very keen to get a small group of real foodies together for excellent, home cooked fare.

Have you had any joy in setting something up?

I am very interested but not sure if the long haired Frau would be as she would have to do all the cooking. Will have to consult and use bribery as a tactic to make her comply.
