Do you have fear of speaking in public?

Well - like it or not - you will need to speak often in your life. At work, at private gatherings, events and special occasions - being a good speaker is always better than being a lousy one!

Come and join Toastmasters, and improve your public speaking. It is a skill that will bring you mighty benefits in life!

Guests and first time visitors - do not afraid - you do not need to speak at all on your first visit. Just come along, see how it looks like, and decide yourself if you want to continue.

Free of charge (for visitors, first timers). There is yearly membership fee if you want to join.

Toastmasters is in English and German. It happens every second weekI don't know German. PM me for mobile number if you want to come along and see for yourself.

Cheers!

Re: Toastmasters Basel - learn to speak!

to clarify:

- one does need to speak when coming for the first time
- there is no need to pay; you can come as guest as many times as you like.

Membership, on the other hand, is if you want to join and develop your speaking skills further. There is no better place in the World than Toastmasters for developing your speech skills!

Re: Toastmasters Basel - learn to speak!

Well thank you for letting us know about this Meeyat, I think this could definitely be useful for me as I'm going more and more into the field of training people.
I'm just a little low on energy this week, but if I don't make it tomorrow, then the next time.

I guess that one works better than my classic:

"OI! CAN YOU PLEASE SHUT THE F* UP, I'M TRYING TO SING A SONG HERE! "at the karaokes.
Yes, I went home alone that night.

Re: Toastmasters Basel - learn to speak!

is it a snoring tandem of thread hijackers, or am I mistaken?

Begga - if you are doing teaching and presentation - this is really efficient and fun way to improve.

Come and see what's going on there. Low-energy people are most welcome, to bring the average energy down
