Remember, although you are coming out to play more serious pool, which many on this list will surely oblige, this is just for fun. Get your arse to Zurich...(please).

| | | | | I can have someone meet you there if you want Begs... or at Hardbrucke. Or if you want to come a bit later, grumpy will be at the Viadukt until 9 and then is planning to stop by for one or two, so you could meet him there and he can bring you over. Let me know. | This user would like to thank JLF for this useful post: | |

I decided that for every game I lose, I will give 10chf to charity and 5chf for every game I win.
Most prob to Children in Need and or the Japan Fund.
Just my little way of mixing fun with helping peeps.

I might have to come along and check out this social pool thing I keep hearing so much about.
Will be being social but I'm not really a player.

13 Maybes: perhaps confirm if you'll be coming as the tables will need reserving and there's no need for the organiser to have to foot any unnecessary fees, or for the rest of us to have to wait ages so everyone who wanders in at the last minute can beat Kevlegs, even if it is for charity. Cheers. Mine's an Erdinger. And a Dos X. And a hot dog.

I tried to get those maybes to make a decision, but like kevlegs, they can't.
Tables are already reserved although I might need a couple more. I have about 10 other confirmed yes's of people that are EF-affiliated but not really active.
I will choose my clothes sometime tomorrow and update the thread accordingly. Now's the time for suggestions (by the brave and/or witty). |

Well, those that want to play - and let Kevlegs allow us to beat him for cheerity - won't want to be swamped with loads of people coming in and saying they too want to play. Everyone's welcome, of course, but it would be polite to tell the OP and those who've already declared they're in for a game - and a beer - if you're coming.
Very friendly staff at Billiardino. They always treat us well.

Keep in mind all, half the people coming (roughly) are just in it for the social atmosphere. You don't have to be good at pool or play pool at all for that matter... you can just come out and join us for a few beers/drinks. With the numbers, it is shaping up to be a fun night.

Very friendly staff at Billiardino. They always treat us well. | | | | | I have been to the last two or three social pool nights and we have so far never faced a lack of tables... and nobody complained that he was not able to play enough. Maybe there are plenty of people interested at the beginning, but the interest slows down after the first beers and really everyone will be able to play...
I have the feeling we will be all ok tomorrow as well | This user would like to thank Treverus for this useful post:

| | Re: Social Pool Night MORNING OF THE EVENT UPDATE: Hope everyone is looking forward to tonight! I will be wearing very dark blue jeans with a jewel-toned green three-quarter-sleeved shirt. I am about 5'4'', medium-build, dark reddish-brown hair, name = Julie. Look for me if you are new and I will introduce you around.
We should be in the back left corner or on the right side around the corner from the beer desk (ie-where you would request a table) at the pool hall. If you ask for me/my group (in English), they will know where to direct you. If you are concerned about finding us, please let me know and I will pm you my number. As most say, just listening for a loud, big group of english speakers usually works too.
Anything else, let me know. | The following 5 users would like to thank JLF for this useful post:
