Anybody else like chocolate ?

Bernie, si tu changes d'idée, ma foi, la porte reste ouverte, entre temps on peut continuer ici ? afin que d'autres personnes puissent en profiter et s'y joindre ?
merci
I am working till the evening, just realized, not flouncing, I am regretting, so want to see this and the little would love it, too...

Now, I love your French messages, in fact you should be always writing in Fr/En, but pweeese, translate them....XO

Re: Chocolate Festival - Canceled

Cant believe I missed this thread. Would love to go!! Thanks for the heads up Bertrand.

Question: does anyone if dogs will be frowned upon? I have a feeling they might be for hygiene reasons.

Reason I am asking is that Geneva is quite a drive from Zurich (the drive to and fro is going to be 6-7hours, not to mention the amount of time I am going to spend scuffing down the chocolates). Dont really want to leave the poor bugger alone for such a long period of time.

Re: Chocolate Festival [OP can't make it, EF event hopefully happening]

I will be teaching till 5 Sat so I don't think I can make it..

But summerrain - check out these photos, looks like almost an open air thing, I would imagine a dog is ok, it is mostly allowed here in Migros, etc. You can also call up and ask. It looks like they have the exposition pieces covered in glass, anyways.

I think they are not allowed. I vagely remember asking the same question last year but maybe my memory is not that good

Edit: Let me know if they are allowed. My dog would like making a new friend

Oh lordy, those pictures of the chocolates! I think I've just dribbled on to my keyboard.

Will give them a call tomorrow gata, and let you know.

And if I put on any weight because of this weekend, I am blaming MusicChick.

Totally, blame me, I can live with that. In fact, I will pick a bag of Mercur almond in plain chocolate and eat it all on my way to work....

I think this is reasonably clear.
I saw the event had been canceled. I don't think the OP organized the Chocolate event. I know it's a side thing. But, because he isn't there, does that mean either the event is canceled automatically or that he actually deleted it?
Regardless, being only a mere 2 plus hours away, and having to work, probably, from 6 in the evening on, I could be interested in jotting down to Geneva/Genf to absorb some calories, a refreshing "beverage" or two, and coming back to work. And meeting a few EF'ers. It's not as if the event is in New York or something.

I'll be there in the morning, around 10 I think.

Gata, I don't think dogs are allowed, and I wouldn't take our puppy anyway. He's 6 months old, in his "eat everything that's on the ground" stage, and it's a chocolate festival. Don't really feel like spending 2 hours preventing him from killing himself at every turn.

Thats exactly what the OH said last night: "you'll be too busy testing chocolates to realise that your dog is doing the same".

I'll have to pass guys - sorry. I got too excited about a tent of chocolates and forgot to take into account that my dog is just as greedy. Its just too far to make it down and leave him alone at home for that long.

Have fun to those of you who are going!

Really energetic and always eating everything he finds on the ground. This morning was funny, there's an unofficial bird feeding area at a nearby park, so he chased all the birds away and started chomping down on their bread. The birds just started at him from the trees like, "You son of a bitch."

Watching after him this week has been hell. Lots of fun, but I admit that I'll be more happy than sad to hand it him back over to my parents on Saturday. Which is why I'm going to the chocolate festival to celebrate!
