Morning Biking Crew,
We were thinking of joining you to bump up the GS contingent (x2). We would like to join at Sumiswald and will probably head home from Emmen / Luzern if that's ok with you all? If that is going to prove too complicated we will just meet you for lunch stop.
Hope to see you tomorrow.
Gruss

Talking of lunch, as this year seems to be the biggest one for EF biking yet when we descend on a venue as a big group it can take up quite a bit of saddle time.
Is it the moment to consider taking sarnies along?

Thanks Chris
Are you still thinking of stopping at Schallenberg for lunch - it does get pretty busy mostly with bikers - any idea what time you will be there, is it worth booking a table or is that just getting too organised....
Gruss

Hi Angie
Not sure on what time, I'd reckon between 1200 - 1300 at Schelenburg. Will get back to this pm, off to pick up the bike now :-)

Mike and Angie | | | | | Mike and Secretary, please note, we won't actually hit Sumiswald. Descending from Lüderenalp we'll enter Wasen iE (3 mls from Sumiswald) and turn right towards Eriswil-Huttwil.
Booking a table on Schallenberg might be a good idea. www.schallenberg.ch

Hi guys
Angie/Mike, do you want to join us for lunch, as Don't know how long it will take us before setting off again?? Reckon we'll be at Schellenberg 1230 - 1300. Tomtom says 2hour 16 mins from our meet at Würenlos, but we may stop here or there for the odd photo or turning video on and off :-)
Agree, booking a table may be a good idea as I think we'll have 14 people. Anyone want to do that, as my german sucks as you all know.

Hey guys
Would it be possible to make a short (2 minute) stop somewhere in the Hochdorf area as we go? My buddy is coming from Zug, and we were thinking it'd be a lot easier for him to meet there than come all the way up.
I'm not sure how it'll work with a group this large, so worst-case I'd just stop to meet him and then catch up with the rest of you later.
Cheers

We should be able to do that, just remind us at the meet in the morning.

Chris | | | | | Sucks? Best reason to practice it. They have a template for reservations, you only have to fill in a few crosses, a number or two and your email address. http://www.schallenberg.ch/index.asp?l=1&p=35

| | Re: Motorcycle rides out No4 Hi all, I’m still alive and kicking THANKS for the fun ride trust me to ride with 14 bikes and loose them all ‘haa haa’ I left lunch, saw Bob and Lucy (recognised by her helmet) took a right and the next minute saw no one. So I thought either I took these windy roads a lot slower than even I thought or I was following the wrong group. No fear since one is never really lost in Switzerland so I just followed the roads filled up with petrol saw a sign for Bern and was home by 5pm. But all in all had a great day THANKS Let me know when you ride out again as I’d love to join you, and will endeavour not to get lost Cheers PS Paulo and Lance thanks for meeting up this morning ...see what happens when you don’t have a GPS |

You weren't the only one to get lost Lorraine - I missed the last 30 or 40km due to roundabout-related silliness. Took the wrong exit, came back, and couldn't find anyone. Whoops.
Great fun though, thanks everyone for having me along!
