Great fun though, thanks everyone for having me along! | | | | | Me too. Stopped for fuel, thought the back two had seen me .
Set off for Muri and Affoltern a.a. but couldn't find the group then in a.a.a, got stuck behind a level crossing and watched helplessly as the tribe went over a roundabout 25m away on the other side. Had to wait for 2 trains so no chance off catching up, even with getting flashed trying . Hit the highway and then saw the tailpipes of the Hog actually on the highway so assumed it was all over.
Super day, excellent lunch, and now a very large beer .

Was a great day out though, looking forward to lots more through summer.

I'm not sure that we tried to lose anyone - but Muppet - you missed out on a 15 km ride down the bumpiest road in the known universe....
I think not having the route was a big issue - ed if I know where we went !

Chris | | | | | Yeah, when you passed me and cut off ahead, I was a bit behind, then next time I looked around you weren't there anymore. Ah well, thanks for the pics!

Thanks for a great day guys. It ended up as 470km by the time I got home. My new seat has proved itself as a worthwhile investment.
Sorry I lost you Colin. i was trying to keep an eye in my mirrors for you, but I think we lost you at a set of traffic lights?
I look forwards to the next one I can attend.

yup that was good fun, the drama just made it more so
I managed not to fall asleep or run out of gas (was down to ~3L when I left the group), and even though a cager tried to get me to make love to his rear-bumper by slamming on his brakes just before the Gubrist on the way home, luckily he was no match for the reaction-time of 3 espressos |

It's just over 200km once you get to Pfaffikon ZH and takes in Appenzell and lunch at the Berghotel Saentis (wonderful, and I mean wonderful steaks).

Ahhh I love that area! I've done all the parts of that ride at one point or another, but never together. I'm definitely joining for this one, and the best part is it starts right near my home |

Dave | | | | | TBH , Dave, my arse hurt so much I had just hit the point of losing the will to live ....
I thought "another bumpy road" or "smooth tarmac home and the sign the Z"
I wimped it - Rob seemed like he had another 300 kms in him!

I believe Bob may be slightly offended at you calling his Bonneville a Thunderbird.

Paulo
There are some people available sunday 24 or mon 25 for the next ride. I can't make it as am flying to Jo'berg, plus it's easter weekend so expect lots on the road.
Then there is the Töff test day on 30th.
