| | Motorcycle rides out No4
Hi guys
popular day from the doodle link was sunday 17th, as most were free, so lets do it again :-)
We can decide where we want to go while chatting at the BBQ on 10th.
Just set the date in your diaries.

I could put a Toggenberg / Appenzell one together - meet around Pfaffikon ZH and start via the Huftegg ?

Not a bad idea Swissbob, but it will be a bit of a trek for those based towards the central and western regions, are there no routes that will cater for those guys and us?

This is one of the problems we always have deciding routes, we are spread fairly wide.
Bob, put it together and shows us what ya got, see what the general consensus is.
Any other ideas, RPF ??

Thanks for considering my ideas! Well, there's still the "Ostschweizer-Tour" I suggested three or four weeks ago (which prompted an invitation by Swissbob). This tour would suit the L-riders. However, as non of them has shown up so far, why not going abroad.
My proposal: The "Kultur-Trip"
1st culture bit - sea journey from Konstanz to Meersburg
2nd culture bit - car and bike museum of legendary motor journalist Fritz B. Busch in Wolfegg/Allgäu
3rd culture bit - Zündapp bike museum in Sigmaringen located in a brewery (fasten your saddle bags)
last but not least - a blast through scenic Donautal (valley of the Danube)
Route: Kreuzlingen Konstanz Ravensburg Wolfegg Sigmaringen Beuron Blumberg Stühlingen Erzingen Hüntwangen Eglisau ZH
Bear in mind, I'm not responsible for the Sunday-VW-Passats slowing down Hedgehog!

Kulture trip sounds good- I came up with this one for a more centrally based ride but I have never done it myself
Lenzburg-Egliswil-Meisterschwanden-Hitzkirch-Hochdorf-Hildisrieden-Sandplatten-Bartswill-Hellbuhl-Malters-Schachen-Rengg-Entlebach-Hasle-Schupfheim-Escholzmatt-Marbach-Schangnau-Schallenberg-Oberei-Rothenbach-Eggiwil-Heidbuel-Langnau iE-Gohl-Wasen ie-Sumiswald-Weier-Huttwil-Zell-Ettiswil-Sursee-Geunsee-Triengen-Winikon-Bottenwil-Verkheim-Holziken-Schoftland-Unterkulm-Teufenthal-Durrenasch-Halwill-Seon-Lenzburg.
Not sure length or time to take on it but looks a good mix of cruising and climbing
Totally open on ideas though.

A bit of kulture might do us ome good.
How about it, and if we do get a L driver, we can do the Ost tour instead.
Whats a god time to meet and place to meet ??

Hi Paulo
Link works fine. Looks a decent route, so we know where we may go.
Now we have to decide on culture or Ost tour. I don't mind on either, as we'll probably do both at some time :-)

Suggestion for meeting up:
Paolo's tour - 10 am Service Station Würenlos on motorway ZH --> Bern (between ZH and Baden)
Kultur-Trip - 9.30 am Tamoil Eglisau, 10.00 Service Station Forrenberg/Winterthur on motorway Winterthur --> St. Gallen/Kreuzlingen, 10.30 at border station Kreuzlingen/Konstanz on motorway

Hi all
I'd thought about joining, but I don't want you to change up your plans just for me (L rider for another month or so - whoops, gotta schedule that test). So I'll just catch you next time.
Cheers
Lance

Corbets, if you want to come, no problem, thats why we have 2 options. Do one sunday, other another weekend.. we usually take a few days to decide where we are going. The practice might do you some good. If you want to join, say so, and we'll do the tour in CH, I've never done that one either, so will be fun.
Xaphod, the kulture was the bike museum :-)
