Maybe they'd do the same for the ESC semis. | | | | | Last year we had the curry at Indian Tandoori Palace during the Germany-Spain game as I do remember the smallest TV in the world Basel Curry Night | The following 2 users would like to thank coolcd for this useful post:

Since the Eurovision contest has suddenly assumed national importance, in the interest of maintaining unity on the EF, I will check with the Mandir proprietors today if they have a TV and are willing to display inane songs and dances on it that evening | The following 2 users would like to thank Sagar_KD for this useful post:

I looked at the menu, lots of yummy looking stuff... I think I've managed to pique the interest of my hubby but he asks if everything is very hot or if there are some (delicious, of course) mild-to-medium offerings?

Most of the food isn't very hot, but even if the description of a hot dish excites you, you can ask for it to be made less hot (and vice verca).

As long as people don't have to wear t-shirts in support of a country for Eurovison you should be ok.......I remember there was a really strange arsonist in a German football top at that curry night |

I called up the restaurant and confirmed reservation for 10 people on 10th May at 19.30.
If the number changes over the next few days, I'll update them on Monday.
P.s. there is no TV in the place. So no images of song and dance that night for us. Begga, what time does Iceland's entry come in? If it is late, then you can still have dinner and hop back to your place for the song and dance affair.

I know it'll annoy Begga but I'm glad there's no TV. If I wanted to eat a curry and just watch TV I could do that at home and save loads of money.

Doesn't really work to see just your song, I know the song already. Either you watch the whole crap - or you don't (and maybe just the points / who gets to the finals). | The following 2 users would like to thank Begga for this useful post:

Since we are close to Tuesday, I request the "Maybe's" to consider whether they will be definitely attending the curry. I will wait till Sunday evening and then inform Mandir about the number of "Yes's".
Enjoy your weekend.

So far I have confirmed reservations for 10 persons for tomorrow. If any of the "Maybes" change their status by today 6 pm to "Yes", I will reconfirm the new number.
