First time my crazy work schedule will free up enough for me to breathe a bit... Sorry for the "delay" in our normal monthly pool schedule. **Please note the change of location**

Oh...its very nice to drink, play pool (i am not good at pool though) and meet new people.
I had been here quite some time and never really got the courage to attend any of the social events organized...maybe its time to "venture" out.
I'm tired of living with only few friends
Will try to get a baby sitter arrange and join the party!!! Will it be odd for me to join as I didnt know anyone?

And you don't have to be good--that is part of the fun of social nights. |

Excited to support new venue. What Canton is that, Aargua ?
My mom managed to survive the coffee shops and red light district of Amsterdam. Assuming a 2 day jont down to St. Moritz and Como is no more onerous, it depends on what time I get back to Zurich, and how good the Mojitos are in St. Moritz. Any suggestions? |

If there around, you might consider Varese and Bergamo as far nicer alternatives in that region. And if your mom is interested in shopping you might forget about either of the above and opt for Milano. The last train from Milano to Zurich departs already at 20.10 (arr 23.58 Zch; change of train at Arth-Goldau). While your mom goes shopping you explore the good sorts of Grappa in the nice bars in Milano | This user would like to thank Wollishofener for this useful post: | |

Depending on where you live in the city, it is probably even faster to get there than Billardino. Most definitely so for the people living around the lake.
Looking forward to try it out.

As to not make husbands jealous, I'll be wearing clothes. Sorry girls. I'm a pretty cheap drunk, though. Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker etc.
Anyone fancy a bike ride down there if the weather's clement? It doesn't take too long to ride along the Sihl and saves me having to decide which taxi I'm sharing. Ah scrap that.

Looking forward to try it out. | | | | | The first "village" when leaving from SihlCity is Leimbach which is an inner surburb still and Adliswil by CH-law is a CITY (STADT Adliswil)
I would use the term "outer-suburb" (äusserer Vorort) to describe the town
And, more to the point asked about it is on the S-line 4 (Sihltalbahn) right beside the station Adliswil-Sood, and the schedule is quite acceptable
Sood-Oberleimbach dep 23.36 -- Zch HB arr 23.51
Sood-Oberleimbach dep 23.56 -- Zch HB arr 00.11
Sood-Oberleimbach dep 00.16 -- Zch HB arr 00.31

As your week is beginning, you might be thinking (or even daydreaming) about what wonderful things await you on the weekend... Don't forget to add the social pool night on Saturday to something you will "stop in" at. You can even plan to eat a nice fish and chips or a huge burger for dinner (both on the menu and both really good here).
But seriously, because we are trying out a new venue, it is important to have a good turnout (so they continue to be interested in having us)... I hope many of you will come out (and play). Plus, if the weather is anything like it was this past weekend, this event is a perfect alternative to being outside.

Seriously: Adliswil is not a city. Maybe a town, but most definitely not a city...

Bumpty-bump!
Pot Belly's is also a sports bar with Sky TV so with any luck they will put one of the (many) big TVs on to Sky Sports Extra so those interested can catch the Super 15 Rugby game between the Sharks and Bulls. Kickoff at 19:10. |

Looking forward to try it out. | | | | | Thanks Treverus. Have been in the hood before, so I was being a little sarcastic. Am looking forward to trying it out. | Quote: | | | | | Como ? Dare I say I ended up in the fountain?
Am actually driving down, but sticking with Como as goal is to make it to pool that night and spend least amount of time as possible in Italy.
My mom wants to meet my "friends". Can I trust you will all speak highly of me and be on your best behaviour? Would be nice if you let me win a couple as well...
