I have long promised to organise something for the long neglected citizens of Fribourg so here it is.

To start with just some light drinks to see if there is any interest. It's on a wednesday as my work schedule is full up from thu-sat most weekends this month but if someone wants to organise it for another day then feel free!

I realise this is short notice for a first event but even if you can't make it just rsvp no so that I/we have some idea for future interest. Also feel free to comment what days would suit you better/ sort of events you'd like to see in the future (cycling, walking, late nights out, pool, table football, dinner, lunch, breakfast, gigs, concerts etc etc. Whatever springs to mind )

If successful we may be able to do something on a regular basis.

For anyone coming along feel free to pm me for my mobile number if unsure of location/ intimidated by asking strangers if this is the right table

  • Vlate - I would love to come!!! But alike M.jordi, the week isn't ideal (evening work).... So, better for me on friday, saturday or even sunday night/afternoon. But if you're still up and motivated around midnight, I might join you next wednesday with pleasure...
  • PaddyG - Nice initiative. I'll see if I can sneak away ;) Update, seems we will be eating out with the outlaws on Wednesday, might try to drop in after.
  • BUGFROMHELL - Hey guys, can a Swiss dude join you ? ;o) I am not sure if I will be free though.
  • pagl57 - I'm quite often there at around 5.30 - 6.00 pm... I'll try to come a bit later then.

  • M.jorfi - I will be happy if you can organize such as an event on Friday night or Sat. night or even every time on weekend. For me, Wend. doesn't seem good, because I have a group meeting on Thursday morning every week.
  • Anthony1406 - I would but am working..... next time though

With just two of us confirmed I'm wondering if it might be better to postpone and organise for a weekend soon.

This Friday (22 of April) is public holiday... And the weather forecast is rather promising!
I'd be up to go for a drink on pub terrace during the afternoon...
Anyone interested by this idea?!?

I think tonight should be postponed for a weekend. Not sure if I'll be around friday but in theory I could late in the afternoon.

Looks like we're booked up for the evening now. Sorry. Nice try though. As the family and in-laws are off to watch some crazy Irish dance thing in Bulle Thursday night, I will be out on my own. If you're working, I might drop into the XXieme to say hi.

I am new in town- a grad student at the university, have been here for about a week, and looking for people to hang out with! I know this is short notice but anyone up for doing something tonight? Drinks? let me know!

I've actually been flattened by a severe mouth infection all week, even went to the hospital on wednesday so afraid I can't tonight. Hopefully i'll be better soon!
