Re: Hide and Seek

The thread started with an innocent hide and seek suggestion and ended with a militant paintball date... that's the spirit!

RobM has no particular reputation at present
Re: Hide and Seek

I'm pretty flexible date-wise (whey) but am keen for this to happen - maybe at the beginning of July, far enough away for not too many plans to be in place?

Why not choose 1st August? All the locals will be celebrating, and you could sneak away and attack the SVP celebrations! That would make the headlines, SVP vs Ex-Pats

Great idea.. I'm a somewhat of a .. ahem.. veteran myself. I could bore you with my war stories but it's probably best you witness my insane skills and madness first hand. I know the Paintball farm, it's great but very intense and you shoot at very close distance sometimes which leaves quite massive bruises, plus it's mostly inside and therefore extremely hot and sweaty.
This forest place sounds much more fun:

We'd need quite a lot of players though, 20 to make sure we don't have to play an opposing team of stranger.

I thought it was great too, I could brag with my war wounds for almost a month, the girls with hot pants found it a little less fun. (and expected pity, not suppressed laughter from their boyfriends)

I was wondering, who'd be interested in meeting up and playing hide and seek. Now before all the "mature folks" start jumping at my throat I'd like to say that it is scientifically proven (source unknown ), that everybody likes a good game of "hide and seek" and it would be an excellent way to get rid of love handles that some of you acquired over the winter months.

(PS: people with vibrams are most welcome to join in as well.)
Yeah... you go and hide... we'll come and find you...

(right, now we've got rid of him.. pub?)
