Fun, friendly football fun close to Paradeplatz.

Notes:

* Please sign up if you're coming (even if you never used to), otherwise it's unmanageable
* Please always check the thread for a game on / game off notice
* Play nice
* The time is 12:00 - 14:00
* New players and women are very welcome (unless we've reached the player limit)
* All skill levels are represented, ranging from comically inept to Spanish
* It's free
* A lovely, refreshing fountain is nearby. Bring a plastic bottle.
* If the pitch is slippy or if it's raining the event is cancelled (because it's really dangerous)

  • ayaskant_sahu - Just arrived in Zurich. Looking forward to a fun footy session.. Do you guys play with cleats/indoor footy shoes/sneakers?
  • welliewanger - The football pitch has a rubber surface so don't wear shoes with cleats. sneakers are fine.
  • Krash357 - i will come but only if the Yes count, excluding me, is 9 or more.
  • superoca - Just saw this, hopefully you guys are still making it. I'll check it out...

Okay looks like we'll only have six guys but the weather is perfect and Josu and Pamir and I (at least) don't mind playing 3 a side for an hour.

So GAME ON.

And I'll try to get a couple more people.

Hey guys,

I know it's a bit late, but I'm new to Zurich and would love to join (although I haven't played in years)
The only problem is that I didn't bring any sport shoes to CH (they are gonna move my stuff somewhere in October ) If somebody has some spare shoes (size 41/42) I'm would be happy to join.

I have some 43s you can use? And some thick socks?

I'll bring them anyway. Maybe someone else will see the thread who has better sized feet!

StirB is joining us, plus the other guy, so it'll be a much more fun 4-a-side, minimum. See you guys there!

That would be great. As long as we don't play on a WC Final level I guess I'll manage with 43's
Thick socks would be great as well.
